Hideyuki Honda
General Manager
Mr. Honda began his career with Aloka in 1991 as a Business Manager of International Sales and Marketing based in Tokyo, Japan. In 1999, Mr. Honda moved to Seoul, Korea to establish and manage the Aloka Korea subsidiary office. In August 2005, based on the success of that venture and his international management and liaison experience, he was selected to move to the United States to assume the role of General Manager of Aloka America.
David R. Famiglietti
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Famiglietti has over 26 years of experience in the Medical Device/Health Care arenas and joined Aloka in 1996. He held the positions of VP Customer Service and Executive VP before being promoted to the position of COO in 2002. As COO, he manages all aspects of Aloka's USA operations.
During Mr. Famiglietti's tenure as COO, the company has successfully launched several new products and technologies, entered into several corporate alliances, and achieved both revenue and profit growth.
Prior to joining Aloka, Mr. Famiglietti held various technical and management positions with responsibilities both within the USA and internationally for Marquette Electronics and Corometrics Medical Systems. He holds degrees in both Electronic Engineering and Business Management.
Dominic J. Ilacqua
Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Mr. Ilacqua has over 20 years experience in the medical device industry, including a more than 15 year affiliation with the Aloka product line. He began his association with the company by way of Aloka distributor Corometrics Medical Systems, where he held sales positions focusing on the OB/GYN, Cardiology and Radiology markets. Consequently, in 1991 Mr. Ilacqua was a founding member of Aloka as a direct business entity in the United States. Prior to his association with Aloka, Mr. Ilacqua held positions in sales with medical device manufacturers Baxter Healthcare and Ohmeda. He began his career in the healthcare field as a Cardiac Sonographer at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
During his tenure with Aloka, Mr. Ilacqua has served in various sales and marketing positions. Most recently, as Director of Sales, he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the sales and clinical applications teams. Prior to that, as Marketing Manager, he was instrumental in the development of the intraoperative ultrasound market. Mr. Ilacqua received a BA in Biology from the University of Massachusetts and holds an MBA from Southern Connecticut State University.
Dennis Kopec
Director of Compliance
Mr. Kopec is responsible for the management of Finance and Warehouse Operations
He has extensive experience in both manufacturing and service business environments with emphasis on financial reporting, cost management, inventory control and asset management.
Mr. Kopec has successfully led several business system and process conversions, which have resulted in operations enhancements, significant cost savings, and productivity improvements.
Mr. Kopec is a graduate of Quinnipiac University, School of Business.
Matthew Oblon
Director of Service
Mr. Oblon has over 26 years of experience in the industry. As National Service Manager he manages all aspects of Aloka's USA service operations.
He held pervious technical and management positions for various medical device companies. Mr. Oblon is a member of The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) and Association for Services Management International (AFSMI)
Richard Cehovsky
Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs Coordinator
Mr. Cehovsky is responsible for the management and coordination of Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs functions for Aloka America.
Prior to joining Aloka, Mr. Cehovsky held a number of management and technical positions that focused on regulatory, quality assurance and engineering disciplines for various medical device companies. Mr. Cehovsky is an MBA graduate from the University of New Haven and also received a BSME from Fairfield University.
Randy R. Baraso
Manager of Business Development and Strategy
Mr. Baraso has over 15 years experience in the medical device industry, and joined Aloka through their OBGYN distributor, Corometrics Medical Systems in 1993 as a Sales Representative in the Midwest. In 1996, Mr Baraso joined Aloka directly as a Sales Representative in the Southeast where he consistently exceeded company objectives.
In his current position of Manager of Business Development and Strategy, Mr Baraso is responsible for establishing alliances and partnerships with other medical firms that contribute to Aloka's growth in traditional and non-traditional market segments.
Prior to joining Aloka, Mr. Baraso has held various sales positions in the medical industry. He received degrees in Business Management from Indiana University.
