ALOKA INTRODUCES TWO ULTRASOUND SYSTEMS FOR CARDIAC AND VASCULAR MARKETS

Aloka Co., Ltd., The Innovator in Ultrasound for more than 50 years, introduces two ultrasound systems with dedicated platforms for advanced cardiac and vascular imaging, the Alpha 10 and Alpha 7.

WALLINGFORD, CT—September 17, 2007--Aloka Co., Ltd., The Innovator in Ultrasound for more than 50 years, announced today the introduction of two ultrasound systems with dedicated platforms for advanced cardiac and vascular imaging, the Alpha 10 and Alpha 7.

The Alpha 10, Aloka’s premium system, incorporates all of the standard cardiovascular features such as stress echo, TDI/strain, TEE transducers, full reporting capabilities, DICOM networking, and more--as well as Aloka’s new exclusive cardiovascular features, including:

• Echo Tracking (eTracking) for early detection of atherosclerosis
• Free Angular M-mode (FAM)
• Neonatal TEE

Aloka’s sleek, new Alpha 7 system provides outstanding image quality for mid-level and office based imaging. The Alpha 7 offers a comprehensive suite of cardiovascular capabilities in a compact chassis for those facilities where space is at a premium.

Both systems employ the same technology that has made Aloka’s name synonymous with reliability, giving Aloka top rankings in MD Buyline’s customer satisfaction ratings.
